Mission
The mission of the CLC is to deliver quality language programs that assist our students’ and industry partners in reaching their educational and professional / career development goals. Our goals are realized through the delivery of programs such as English for Academic Purposes, Business English, IELTS Preparation, Arabic as Foreign Language and Customized language training programs.Outcomes
The projected outcomes of the CLC’s efforts will take shape in the quality students that we produce who will have developed frameworks for being better communicators in their Academic and Professional pursuits.
Why study @ the CLC?
The CLC offers a wide range of programs all designed to enable students to reach their goals in a timely and realistic manner. Our programs include English for academic or business purposes, Arabic Language, teacher training (CELTA) and IELTS preparation and testing. Corporate contracts for English or Arabic are available as well.
All programs are delivered by qualified staff who come from a range of backgrounds such as Australia, the US, New Zealand, Canada, South Africa, Iran, Italy, Lebanon, Russia, Jordan and India. All CLC staff have experience teaching in international contexts which is essential in delivering an effective program in Dubai’s multicultural environment.
Furthermore, as the CLC is a part of the UOWD Campus, students have access to a lively student community. CLC students also have access to the facilities of the University which include computer laboratories, the Library and Student Services.
