Arabic Language Program
Living and working in the UAE and Dubai means associating with people who speak many languages. While English is used by many people, Arabic is still the main language of the UAE and region. Therefore, the CLC offers an Arabic language program that introduces students not only to spoken Arabic but also to Arabic culture and customs. Being able to speak Arabic with people for whom it is a first language opens up new opportunities in the workplace and when socialising, making the Arabic program popular among local expatriates as well as overseas students. Throughout the year the CLC offers courses in Arabic Language that incorporates four language skills: listening, reading, speaking and writing. However, during the summer an intensive Arabic program is offered for those who would like to learn Arabic as a second language in an authentic, Arabic cultural context.
