UOWD staff got together to celebrate Onam on August 29. Onam is the biggest and the most important festival of the state of Kerala, India. It is a harvest festival and is celebrated with joy and enthusiasm all over the state by people of all communities. Staff from all different cultures enjoyed the special ‘Onasadhya’ meal – some eating on giant banana leaves for the first time. Many wore traditional attire – it was a fun afternoon which showcased UOWD’s diverse staff community.
