Thursday, 21 March, 2013

Information Technology students from the University of Wollongong in Dubai last week visited the offices of DNATA, the largest air travel services provider in the Middle East. The thirty students undertook the field trip to learn about the evolution of Information Technology in the Airline Industry.

DNATA staff impressed the students with their descriptions of the software and technology applications they have implemented, and the new systems they will be bringing to the market in future, including the 3D-Glass Wall touch-pad, which will allow customers to browse brochures on a simple transparent glass screen in malls and other DNATA outlets.

All the students taking part in the field trip were freshers undertaking the General Education - Computer Applications course.
