Dr Jayashree Payyazhi, Associate Dean (Education) and Associate Professor (HR) at the University of Wollongong in Dubai (UOWD) recently got the opportunity to conduct a three-day Executive Development Program at the Indian Institute of Management, Bangalore (IIMB).
The program on ‘Leading Strategic Change’ was aimed at participants who aspire to lead Change effectively within their own organisations or individuals who wish to develop the skills to facilitate organisations to succeed in their Strategic Change efforts.
The exceptionally well received program was attended by 40 participants comprising of Senior Leadership, including COOs, Vice Presidents, Associate Vice Presidents, Directors, General Managers, Deputy General Managers, and Department Heads from large corporates. Through real life case studies and engaged discussions, the attendees developed various skills such as recognising the need for change and how to start the change process, managing personal transitions, leading stakeholders through strategic change and reviewing strategic change and transformations. Dr Payyazhi was one of two program directors leading the program.
Dr Jayashree said: “It was a privilege and a great learning experience to have the opportunity to discuss the various key issues that need to be considered and addressed during evolutionary and transformational change periods with a very engaged and mature group of participants leading very diverse portfolios”
