Younes Proctor talk held on 16th Nov "Emiratization and Localization under the banner of the CGS Expert Lecture Series addressed the interlinked issues of knowledge management in a knowledge driven economy. What are the skills that a knowledge worker should have and how does one train knowledge workers. The talk addressed the issue of Emiratization in this context and what need to be done to make the program effective.Younes Proctor is currently working in the Learning & Knowledge Management department for the UAE Offsets Group in Abu Dhabi. He has more than 20 years professional experience in North Africa and the Gulf region working in the capacities as a Training Manager, Director of English Department, Trainer and Lecturer.He holds an MSc degree in English for Specific Purposes from Aston University, UK, as well as an MSc degree in Human Resources from Leicester University UK. His MSc thesis in the HR field was entitled 'Localization of Work Forces in the Gulf Region' (honours).
