Executive coaching helps to 'join the dots', leadership guru tells HR students
Monday, 21 September, 2015
The University of Wollongong in Dubai recently welcomed back Dubai’s leading Human Resources networking group, The HR Forum, back to campus after a short break for the summer period. Kicking off the new season of inspiring talks from high profile specialists in style, undergraduate and postgraduate students benefited from a presentation from Tricia Evans, one of Dubai’s leading business coaches and writers. Having coached over 5,500 managers in her 22 year career in the Emirates, Tricia explained the importance of executive coaching to the packed lecture theatre and discussed its many benefits. She also explored the tactics that businesses can employ to help their staff to become more effective and conscious leaders, including taking into account different personality types amongst staff. A hugely enjoyable and interactive session, the seminar evoked healthy debate and offered an opportunity for members of the Human Resource Forum and UOWD students to provide their own perspectives on a number of questions raised by both Tricia’s talk and other members of the audience.
