The University of Wollongong in Dubai has received the ‘Highly Commended’ award in the Training and Education Provider of the Year category at the Supply Chain and Transport Awards (SCATA) for the second consecutive year.
Taking place at Dubai Festival City’s InterContinental Hotel, this year’s ceremony was attended by senior executives and recognised figures from the supply chain and logistics industry, including DP World, Fedex, TNT and Al-Futtaim Logistics.
UOWD were praised by the prestigious judging panel of experts for their efforts in improving their Master of Science (Logistics) course structure, re-designing it to prepare students with the knowledge, skills and expertise to effectively design and manage the supply chain and logistics operations in one of the busiest logistics hubs in the world.
The SCATA 2015 ceremony included 15 categories in total, covering the logistics, sea freight and air cargo sectors. Now in its ninth year, the SCATAs have become the definitive awards program for supply chain and transport professionals working in the region.
