Professor Nick van der Walt, CEO of the University of Wollongong in Dubai (UOWD) launched the Master of Strategic Marketing, a new postgraduate course. He made the announcement at the Opening Ceremony the "Building Brands through Integrated Communications workshop conducted in conjunction with Fortune Promoseven at the Dusit Hotel in Dubai on 29th May.
The Master of Strategic Marketing strives to provide students with a thorough grounding in the strategic marketing techniques required to excel in todays increasingly competitive global marketplace. It is designed for marketing practitioners and strategists who will apply contemporary marketing theory and practice, incorporating international and global perspectives to their current and future roles.
The Master of Strategic Marketing is accredited by the UAE Ministry of Higher Education and is recognised in the UAE, the GCC and internationally for further education and employment in the private and public sectors. It will be offered at UOWD commencing September 2006.
