Dr Flevy Lasrado, Assistant Professor of Quality Management at University of Wollongong in Dubai’s Faculty of Business, will be bringing an innovative new workshop on sustainability and green behavior to Dubai next month in collaboration with the UK’s University of Salford, thanks to a significant research grant from the British Council.
The workshop on “promoting green behavior quality” will bring together representatives from government departments from both the UAE and the UK, academics, industry partners and practitioners in quality management, facilities management and HR together to discuss how the two countries can work together to achieve sustainability goals. Dates and further details of the workshop will be revealed shortly.
The workshop will be part of an ongoing collaboration with the University of Salford, UK, thanks to a research grant funded by the British Council that aims to promote research links between the UK and the UAE. The fund aims to give researchers across selected partner countries the opportunity to form international connections through fully funded workshops and travel grants.
