Transfer to UOW Australia

The University of Wollongong in Dubai offers you the opportunity to incorporate further international study within your program, by transferring to either of the University of Wollongong’s campuses in Wollongong, or in Sydney, Australia.

Students who have commenced a program at UOWD may transfer to UOW Australia with credit for relevant subjects, provided certain eligibility criteria have been met and corresponding programs are available.

Postgraduate students must have completed at least one semester of full- or part-time study at UOWD and are required to have a minimum of three subjects remaining. Undergraduate students are required to have a minimum of four subjects of study remaining and transfer arrangements are dependent on high school qualifications.

If you are interested in exploring the opportunities for transfer once you have enrolled on a course of study at UOWD, please contact the Registrar’s Department for more details about the process at

Student Exchange Program

Once enrolled, UOWD students may also apply for the Student Exchange program with UOW Australia. Under this scheme, up to two UOWD students per semester can study in Wollongong, Australia, subject to certain eligibility criteria and expenses.

Please note that all transfer and exchange students must make their own arrangements to obtain a student visa for Australia.

Australian Citizens

If you are an Australian Citizen/Permanent Resident Citizen studying at UOWD and are interested in either transferring or taking part in the Exchange program, please contact the Registrar’s Department for details regarding fees and the number of subjects required to complete.
