We've always known that genuine leadership leads to better performance, much better morale, well-being and positive behaviour. Developing people and organisations has always been challenging, fulfilling, pressured and full of stressors. Especially in the 21st Century. This is where mental toughness matters. Mental Toughness is an aspect of our personality which determines how we deal with stress and pressure and how we can see change as a source of opportunity to grow and to develop.

Presenter Details:Maya is a highly motivated People development professional with over 14 year’s international experience in the Middle East, and Southeast Asia. Maya has excellent change management capabilities, as well as first class people management skills. She has purposefully developed an interest, both academically and professionally, in psychology to enhance her work in this area. As a result she has developed significant expertise in assessment, development and coaching activity. Over the last fourteen years of her career she was part of the award winning Emirates airline premium cabin training team then she was part of the core opening team responsible in setting up and opening 11 different businesses in the leisure and entertainment sector for worldwide franchises and local organizations to name few: Burj Khalifa’s At The Top, The Dubai Mall, KidZania Dubai / Kuala Lumpur / Jeddah, Sega Republic, Dubai Ice Rink, The Dubai Aquarium and Underwater Zoo, The Little Big Club, Sanrio Hello Kitty Town. With a Master Degree in Coaching Psychology, Maya brings a wealth of knowledge, hands on experience in redefining companies’ culture, crafting customer’s experience, service excellence platforms, leadership effectiveness, executive coaching, organizational behaviour, innovation, learning & development, hospitality and personal transformation.
