The Netherlands cricket team members interacted with UOWD students as part of a build-up to the ICC World Twenty20 Qualifier UAE 2012 (WT20Q) which will be held at Dubai Sports City from March 13 to 24.

Sporting their orange jerseys, Dutch cricketers Stephanus Johannes and Mudasser Bukhari, posed for photographs with the ICC World Twenty20 UAE Qualifier trophy in the UOWD auditorium. The audience consisted of students, including some members of the UOWD cricket team.

“As a university committed to promoting all-round development of students’ personality, UOWD attaches great importance to sports,” said Erin Collins, Assistant Manager, Student Services. “We are delighted to give our students an opportunity to interact with cricketers who will be playing at the ICC World Twenty20 Qualifier UAE 2012 from Tuesday.”
