The presentation highlighted the multicultural environment of the UOWD which hosts students from over 100 nationalities. It also highlighted the ranking of UOWD’s parent university, University of Wollongong in Australia, which was recently ranked 33rd among 100 top young universities in The Times Higher Education ranking.

The presentation was attended by Nawar Hakeem, Associate Professor in the Faculty of Computer Science and Engineering, UOWD, and Eduardo Hamzi, Manager, Property and Services.

The group was later taken on a tour of the university facilities, spread in three blocks in Dubai Knowledge Village. The visitors were impressed by the university’s achievements, diversity of programs and organizational structure.

Majmaa’h University is considered one among the promising modern universities in Saudi Arabia. The visit laid the foundation for future cooperation between the two universities.
