Dr Mona Mustafa is an Associate Professor at the University of Wollongong in Dubai. She obtained her PhD in Human Resource Management from the University of London, a Masters in Human Resource Management and Industrial Relations from the University of Hertfordshire, UK and a postgraduate certificate in teaching in higher education from the University of London. Dr Mustafa was also awarded the National Examination Board in Occupational Safety and Health qualification from the UK.
Dr Mustafa teaches subjects such as organisation behaviour, performance management and workplace health and safety. She was selected by the International Labour Organisation, a United Nations agency, to participate in training courses in the area of occupational health and safety.
She worked in London for 11 years in the field of education and training. Before joining UOWD, she worked in the UK for leading British universities including the University of London, Cass Business School, City University, and the European Business School. Dr Mustafa is a professional member of the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development (CIPD).
Her research interests are in the areas of work-life boundaries, shift work, managing expatriates and teleworking.
