To enrol in a bachelor’s degree, you will need to meet the University’s minimum academic and English language requirements.

Academic Requirements
The minimum academic entry requirements and admission criteria for UOWD depend upon the type of high school curriculum you have followed. The minimum requirements based on the most common high school systems are outlined below:

English Language Requirements
At UOWD, all classes are taught in English and in order to enrol in a bachelor’s degree you will need to submit one of the following certificate of English language proficiency:

English Test
English language programs for University studies and IELTS preparation are available at the University’s English Language Centre.
Note: UOWD accepts only IELTS Academic taken on paper or on computer at an official test centre. IELTS Online (at-home version) and TOEFL Home Edition are not accepted.
Credit for Prior Learning
If you are seeking advanced standing status, you will need to submit an official academic transcripts showing all courses studied and the grades obtained, syllabus details (including information on course content) for the courses you have successfully completed and an explanation of the grading system.
Placement Tests
All Engineering students are required to take the placement test unless they are specifically exempted. Placement tests are offered for Mathematics and Physics.
Students who do not achieve an overall score of 50% on the Placement test will need to complete the remedial subjects in Mathematics and Physics in their first trimester.

Challenge Tests
Students have the opportunity to take Challenge Tests only before the commencement of their first trimester of study. These tests are designed for students seeking advanced standing in any of the following University Freshman subjects.
