We offer an extensive set of resources for UOWD students and graduate looking to develop their employability skills, hone their interview techniques, and access exciting and rewarding employment opportunities.

The office provides one-to-one career advising sessions, career development workshops and career related activities and events to enhance students’ employability skills. It hosts employer engagement events including on campus recruitment sessions, career fairs, and advertises postings for internships and employment opportunities through a dedicated online portal, exclusive to UOWD students and graduates. 

UOWD's careers advisors can assist you with:

UOWD students have access to the Careers Development Platform which helps to improve the employability and career readiness of students and graduates. The platform gives students the autonomy to gain the skills required to succeed in their chosen employment path, and provides them with branded professional content and tools that can be easily accessed online.

• Engaging Career content that includes career coaching videos, employer advice and market sector reports
• Updated weekly content of videos, eLearning courses and career articles

Employer Campus Visit Program – The office collaborates with industry partners from various sectors to conduct recruitment sessions on campus and share internships or employment opportunities available at their organizations. Employers are also invited as guest speakers to present information sessions on topics related to professional development. The Employer Campus Visit Program enhances students’ employability skills, job search strategies and networking skills through interacting with various employers.

Career Fair – The UOWD Career Fair attracts dozens of multinationals, as well as leading UAE firms, to recruit students and alumni from all academic disciplines. Our students and graduates have an outstanding record of securing employment as a result of their attendance at this annual event.

Student Employment Opportunities – There is a dedicated careers portal to help students to search for internships, part-time and fulltime employment opportunities. Students are able to upload their CV and apply for a range of job opportunities and internships that are advertised.
