Dr Zeenath Reza Khan is the Faculty Lead of Technology and Integrity in Academia and Beyond Research Forum and Assistant Professor of Cyber Ethics at University of Wollongong in Dubai. She has been teaching in the Faculty of Engineering and Information Sciences at the university since 2001 is Chairing the Academic Integrity Committee at the university. Currently, she is also the Founding President of the Centre for Academic Integrity in the UAE (CAIU). She completed her PhD under full fee-waiver scholarship from University of Wollongong in coining and studying Electronic Cheating among Students from UOW Australia Faculty of Engineering and Informatics which was nominated for the Emerald Outstanding Doctoral Thesis Award 2016.

Dr Khan has to-date more than 60 publications to her name with Best Paper award for her work in Gamification of Academic Integrity, is a Tier One Public Speaker, has spoken at major international conference including at Harvard University (USA) and Cambridge University (UK), as invited/guest/key note or lead speaker and been interviewed as lead expert on academic integrity by major newspapers nationally and internationally.
Dr Khan’s research interests are in community informatics, ethics in IT and education, technology in education, and has been nominated thrice for the Research Excellence Award by UOWD’s Research Committee.
Currently Dr Khan is a board member of the European Network for Academic Integrity Audit Group, leading working group on Gamification of Academic integrity, heading the SmartED project that looks at developing a smart framework for higher education to face crises, a Fellow of Wollongong Academy of Tertiary Teaching Excellence (WATTLE), and official reviewer for Oxford University Press – Epigeum Academic Integrity Course Module.
In her spare time, Dr Khan also manages a voluntary foundation for women and girls that advocates for education, hygiene and rights as founding managing director.
