- Dr Jaeyoung Cho
Dr Jaeyoung Cho joined the Faculty of Business at UOWD as an assistant professor of international business and strategy. Before joining, he worked for the School of Management at Xiamen University as an assistant professor and Hong Kong University of Science Technology (HKUST) Business School as a post-doctoral fellow.
His teaching and research interests include corporate governance, competitive dynamics, international strategy, family business, and emerging market firms. His research has been published widely in top-tier journals such as Strategic Management Journal, Journal of Family Business Strategy, and Asian Business & Management.
He holds a Ph.D. in strategic management and organizational theory from Kyungpook National University, a top national business school in South Korea. He is also a recipient of 5th Korean Education Minister’s Award, Brain Korea 21 Plus Scholarship Award, 12th Linsu Scholar Award, KASBA Best Doctoral Thesis Award, Hyangchon Best Paper Award, and Best Paper Award in 2017 Korean Association of Small Business Studies Spring Conference and 2016 Korean Society of Annual Conference.

- Dr Jaeyoung Cho has participated in the industry report project (titled Logistics Market Trends in the Middle East: Focus on Supply Chain Localization) with Korea Maritime Institute.
- He is a member of Strategic Management Society, Academic of Management, European Academy of Management, Euro-Asia Management Studies Association, and Korean Academic Society of Business Studies.s.
- Dr Jaeyoung Cho teaches all courses related to Strategic Management and International Business.
