Accolade for UOWD student

UOWD third year student Nisin Mathew presented a paper titled "Environmental Threats of Transportation in the UAE" at the Green Gulf Youth Conference held at The American University of Sharjah on 8th February and was selected as a top ten finalist. Nisins presentation won 2nd place overall, winning him a very handsome plaque and a trip to Germany next year to attend the United Nations Environmental Programme (UNEP) conference. Nisins paper will be published in the Green Gulf Report, a joint report between the Gulf Research Center (GRC) and The Energy & Resources Institute (TERI).
