First ever Careers Fair at UOWD

Over 200 students attended the first Careers Fair conducted at the University of Wollongong in Dubai (UOWD), held on Wednesday, 1st March at UOWD in Dubai Knowledge Village. Leading private and public sector employers such as Maersk Kanoo (UAE) LLC, Dubai E Government, Deloitte & Touche, Ernst and Young, KPMG, HSBC, Siemens LLC, Weatherford Oil Tools ME Ltd, Al Borj Machinery Co Ltd, Fed Ex, Dulsco, iQ Graduate, Transmed Overseas Inc SA and the international student exchange organisation, AIESEC, participated in the Fair. Several prospective employers commented on the calibre of the students, highlighting the widely-acknowledged view that UOWD graduates were the "employees of choice" in the UAE.
