The Women's Basketball team claimed the Runner-Up trophy after a very close fought match against host GMC, which they lost by only 1 basket. UOWD Table Tennis (men) team defeated host GMC, Ajman with a 3-0 score in the three team round robin final round league but lost to Bits Pillani 1-3 in the final and had to settle for the second place prize. Our other teams also had good performances. The Volleyball team lost in the semi-finals against University of Sharjah 1-2, Men's Cricket lost with host GMC in the quarter finals.
