The University of Wollongong in Dubai (UOWD) announced full scholarships at the Undergraduate and Postgraduate level in association with the Australian Business in the Gulf (ABIG) in Dubai. The scholarships are part of a package of incentives offered to the membership of ABIG to strengthen links between UOWD and the Australian business community in Dubai. At a ceremony on Sunday, 3rd September, Professor Nick van der Walt, CEO of UOWD and Mr. Geoff Wheatley, Chairman of ABIG said "UOWD and ABIG are delighted to establish a partnership on this important initiative to acknowledge academically meritorious students who have also served the community at large with outstanding public service.
