UOWD students selected for Colors TV show Checkmate!

Four students from the University of Wollongong in Dubai (UOWD) got selected to participate in Checkmate 2.0, a reality show featuring 16 young and aspiring university students competing in a series of business challenges. Mustafa Ahmed, Lokesh Bhatia, Himani Kothari and Muskan Lalwani secured a seat in the program which is based on the well-known series ‘The Apprentice’ which aired in America and in the United Kingdom. Produced by IndiaCast, the show is aimed at the younger audience who are currently at a very important phase of their lives, evolving from being students to responsible professionals. The show aims to find the smartest young talent and offering them a great launch pad to be able to start their career with one of the most reputed employers. The 14-episode television show will be hosted by radio presenters from City 1016 Malavika and Parikshit. It will premiere in the UAE on 18 February 2018 at 9:00pm UAE.At the end of the program, the three finalists will get an opportunity to intern with leading corporates in the Middle East.
