Being their first performance of the year, they excelled and won the first place.

Other competitors on the day included Bits Pillani, Manipal, Middlesex, Amity and Murdoch University.

The UOWD Theatre club, consisting of undergraduate and postgraduate students, was awarded second place in the previous year.

“The club’s ultimate goal is to perform in all major theatre competitions, conduct acting workshops at the University and to encourage students to take up drama as an extracurricular student activity”, commented Aman Bhatia, President of the club.
