UOWD wins Skyline College Crossfire Debate Tournament

Monday, 17 April, 2006


The UOWD debating team of Nisin Mathew and Rohini Kamath took the top awards at the 6th Annual Skyline College Crossfire Debate Tournament held Sunday, April 16. Nisin Mathew was named Best Speaker against the motion and the UOWD team won the overall competition trophy for Best Debating Team. UOWD students gave an outstanding performance against competition from 9 other universities. The team was coached by faculty members Melissa Bos and Swapna Koshy.
