Master of Science (Logistics and Supply Chain Management)
This triple accredited program will provide you with the skills you need to manage the flow of information and materials within and between organisations both locally and globally. You will gain a full understanding of a highly specialised area involving the management of goods and resources, production, packaging and transportation. Furthermore, you will develop your skills and capabilities on topics such as forecasting, sales, operational planning and procurement to name a few, whilst maximising your leadership opportunities.
Note: Degree name to be changed to Master of Supply Chain Management for students commencing in September 2021 (Autumn 2021 intake).

The program is accredited by the UK’s Chartered Institute of Procurement and Supply (CIPS). UOWD students will receive free CIPS student membership and upon successful completion of their degree along with evidence of 3 years relevant work experience they may apply for MCIPS membership of the Chartered Institute of Procurement and Supply.
The program is accredited by the UK’s Chartered Institute of Logistics and Transport (CILT). Students will have the option to join as a Student Member of CILT, providing them with a plethora of benefits contributing to personal and professional development in order to advance into more senior leadership roles. The accreditation will also serve as a pathway to CILT Chartered Membership status.
Globally accredited, internationally relevant
All Business programs at the University of Wollongong in Dubai are accredited by the Commission for Academic Accreditation (CAA) of the UAE Ministry of Education and are licensed by the Knowledge and Human Development Authority (KHDA). Also, all Business programs of the University of Wollongong are accredited by The Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business (AACSB).
This program is also quality assured by UOW Australia, which is registered with the Australian Tertiary Education Quality and Standards Agency (TEQSA), the national regulator of higher education in Australia. Upon graduation, you can choose either a degree from UOWD or a degree from UOW Australia.
The Master of Science (Logistics and Supply Chain Management) is tradable against the Master of Supply Chain Management at UOW.
The maximum requirement to graduate from the Master of Science (Logistics and Supply Chain Management) program is twelve (12) subjects. However, if you have completed a Bachelor degree in a relevant area or a UOWD Graduate Certificate in Business, or you have extensive professional work experience in a related area alongside a Bachelor degree, you may be able to complete the program in a total of ten (10) subjects in line with UOWD’s policy on Credit for Prior Learning. Your eligibility for Credit for Prior Learning will be decided in consultation with UOWD’s Faculty of Business office prior to the beginning of the program.
To complete this program, it will normally take you five or six semesters (based on 3 mandatory semesters per year where you take 2 subjects). At this rate, the degree can be completed within two years or less. If you take 3 subjects per mandatory semester, you can fast-track your degree and complete the program in four or five semesters (just over a year). Classes are held from 6:00pm - 9:30pm, Sunday to Thursday, with occasional Saturday classes. Each subject requires one evening of attendance for 11 weeks.
Students must study all 12 subjects in order to secure MCIPS certification. No subject exemptions are permitted.
